I need to dust off my camera and get back into the swing of things a bit more. I don't have any new photos of myself or of food that I've recently made/eaten or of the cat; three things that make a blog a blog.
Our move-in is pretty much all done. The computers are in and juiced up with the internet so now I'll never have to leave our room ever again. We just got back from bringing Nic's cat to our new place from her mom's... that was a treat. I never heard so many weird noises come out of a cat before.
Being the semi-awesome genius that I from time to time am, I hook up Nic's and my computer to our surround system so we can play music even louder and annoy the downstairs neighbors even more.
Oh, my Thai sister Gift is coming back to Wisconsin in about a week to start her college career and I'm very excited to see her again.
I feel like a total nerd right now cause I just looked over and saw that Nic is also writing a new blog post. So now I feel like it's a race to see who gets done first...
Nate says: im not emo... at least not anymore Stolenswan says: yaaaaaay Stolenswan says: you graduated! Stolenswan says: Not you're just bitter like the rest of us! Stolenswan says: Quick...complain about something
Nate says: ummm... i need a fucking shower!
Nate says: i need a shower so much i wanna cry and hate... umm... things Stolenswan says: whoa.....that was bad Stolenswan says: even for a Sunday morning Stolenswan says: You're supposed to complain about things like the water bill, and punk kids wearing those damn shoes with the wheels on the bottom Stolenswan says: Or like....Mexicans
Nate says: sorry, i forgot how to be emo...
Stolenswan says: Don't apologize to me. Apologize to like.....My Chemical Romance or something..
My long internet hiatus is over. Several months of being unplugged have been very good for me. I did things, read books, worked, found constructive ways to spend my time. But it feels good to be plugged back in.
What I have missed most are all the people who I only have contact with thought the internet. I miss getting drunk and making long distance phone calls to Canadians.
My job at the club has turned me a bit nocturnal, its almost 5:30 in the AM and I haven't gone to bed yet... Work has been slow, beautiful weather and festivals draw people away from the bars but several night club remodels have kept me busy.
Id rather not fall back into my old habit of being on the internet far too much. Going without the internet is easy when there is no way to access it, but now that its right here in front of me, it may be hard to stay away.
